This year, 120 students graduated from Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong (LPCUWC), obtaining an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. Based on the provisional results of IB Diploma 2021, we are pleased to announce that 47% of our graduates have received 40 or more Diploma points in the IB Diploma exams, higher than the world average of 12.9% (in May 2020). Out of a maximum of 45 Diploma points, 5 graduate(s) obtained 45 with 8 44s and 13 43s.
“These results are a real testament to the students and staff who have worked together over the past two years under challenging circumstances. It has been an honour to witness them overcome many personal obstacles and challenges and transform from students to young leaders who champion peace, sustainability and positive change in their respective communities and the world,” Principal Arnett Edwards said.
We would like to congratulate each of our 120 graduates of Class of 2021. Their two years also represented so much beyond the IB Diploma. Despite the complexity of the last two years, students continued to find ways to make a difference in the world; work on service projects and discuss and debate important world issues from different perspectives.
